The fact that the Milwaukee Bucks just won the NBA Finals (never gets old saying that) may still feel fresh, but the 2021-22 season is already upon us – starting with the preseason schedule, as revealed today by the team.

The Bucks will hit the court once again on the road in Memphis, playing Ja Morant and the Grizzlies at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5. Milwaukee will then head to Brooklyn for a preseason spat against the Nets later that week before finally coming back to Fiserv Forum for a 7 p.m. warm-up game on Sunday, Oct. 10 against the Oklahoma City Thunder – their first of two home preseason games.

Here's the full preseason schedule

  • Tuesday, Oct. 5 – 7 p.m. at Memphis Grizzlies
  • Friday, Oct. 8 – 6:30 p.m. at Brooklyn Nets
  • Sunday, Oct. 10 – 7 p.m. vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
  • Wednesday, Oct. 13 – 8 p.m. at Utah Jazz
  • Friday, Oct. 15 – 7 p.m. vs. Dallas Mavericks

And if Oct. 5 is too long to wait to see the Bucks back in action, the team will host an intra-squad open scrimmage at Fiserv Forum on Sunday, Oct. 3 at noon.

Tickets for Milwaukee's two home preseason will go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 10 on the Bucks app and on the Bucks website – where fans can also order full-season ticket memberships for the team's upcoming title-defending regular season run.

Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more Bucks updates (including information on the regular season schedule, which is expected soon). And one more time, just because: The Milwaukee Bucks are the defending NBA champions.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
