It's rough times over at Dwindling Red Streaming Monolith headquarters these days – but hey, maybe the kids from Hawkins can save the day.

That's right: The final season – or at least the first part of the final season – of the streamer's throwback thriller "Stranger Things" will hit in May, along with a slate of new arrivals that won't have anyone eagerly signing up again but also shouldn't scare anyone away. As for originals, Netflix will deliver its usual binge-able dose of true crime ("Our Father") and fluffy reality (a new season of "The Circle"), plus a "Marmaduke" movie in the year 2022 for some reason and the Hallmark-esque culinary romance "A Perfect Pairing," starring Victoria Justice and hopefully a lot of pretty wine and food shots.

Oddly, this is the rare case where the outside material on a Netflix arrivals announcement ranks as some of the most exciting. Somebody must be on a Nora Ephron kick at Netflix HQ because the streamer will get the rom-com classics "When Harry Met Sally" and "You've Got Mail" – and for the total opposite of that, the service will also score bombastic blockbusters like "War of the Worlds" and the most recent Rambo adventures. Laughs will be in steady supply as Netflix nabbed the modern comedy favorite "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle" along with a pile of "Jackass" movies. And for something slightly more serious than the "Jackass" films, Netflix also scored the underrated gangster drama "Road to Perdition" along with the cinematic icons "Dirty Harry" and "Forrest Gump."

And speaking of iconic, the great Jackie Robinson is now in Netflix's lineup as the 2013 baseball drama "42" will join the team on the first of the month. In case 162 games of America's pastime just isn't enough baseball to sate you this summer.
