The Wisconsin State Fair's 2023 slate of musical headliners is coming together, with REO Speedwagon added yesterday and now Tommy James & The Shondells today announced to take the Main Stage on Sunday, Aug. 6.

The retro pop rock band behind throwback hits like "Mony Mony," "Crimson & Clover" and "I Think We're Alone Now" will be joined on Sunday night by opening act Little Anthony of "Tears on My Pillow" fame.

Tickets for the Main Stage show go on sale starting Friday, March 3 at 10 a.m. at the Wisconsin State Fair's website. All seating will be reserved, with tickets costing $36, $41 and $46.

As for the rest of the Wisconsin State Fair, the late summer staple will run from Aug. 3-13. For more information about the Fair, visit their website – and for more updates and announcements, stay tuned to OnMilwaukee.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
