’Tis Dining Month, the tastiest time of year! This means we’re dishing up fun and fascinating food content throughout October. Dig in, Milwaukee! OnMilwaukee Dining Month is served up by Educators Credit Union and Potawatomi Casino Hotel

It’s as important as ever to support the amazing collection of local restaurants that we have in our beautiful city. And there’s no better way to do so than making a commitment to patronize them throughout the year. To guide you on your journey, I’ve composed a list of 52 amazing restaurants. Try just one of these every week and you’ll have visited them all by the end of 2023.  View the full list here OR download an abbreviated printable PDF file.

If you love seafood – or simply well-prepared entrees – Third Coast Provisions delivers some of the city's best in an environment that's as beautiful as the food.

One could make a meal of the starters at Third Coast, which run the gamut from raw seafood selections like oysters and crudo to housemade flatbread served with sweet corn hummus enhanced with crispy corn nuts, smoked paprika and cilantro; or PEI mussels in coconut tom kha broth.

But there's plenty more to enjoy at this Downtown destination, which offers up delicious seasonal dishes like housemade Pumpkin Ricotta Ravioli (butternut squash, brown butter, sage, citrus pie crust, mushrooms, winter spinach and toasted pecan syrup); Steak Frites with sauce au poivre, housemade frites and horseradish aioli; and Roasted Sea Scallops with sweet corn risotto, seasonal mushrooms, pickled ramp vinaigrette and red sorrel.

Exceptional staff can recommend pairings from their excellent list of craft cocktails, wine or beer.  And it would be a shame to leave without sampling at least one of their ever-changing and imaginative desserts.

Recommended: Inventive crudo, seafood potholes, spare ribs, seafood dishes
