Put your bloody mary drinking pants on.

The Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation has announced that it will be hosting its 11th annual Milwaukee’s Best Bloody contest on Feb. 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Italian Community Center, 631 E. Chicago St.

Tickets are on sale now for the event, which offers attendees 21+ the chance to vote for their favorite  bloody marys while supporting the life-saving work of the GLHF.

During this year’s competition, bartenders from some of the area’s best bars and restaurants will show off their chops by preparing their signature bloody marys while guests enjoy beer chasers, appetizers and the opportunity to vote for their favorite bloody.

Proceeds from the event support Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation in their mission to educate, support and advocate for the Wisconsin bleeding disorders community. That means support of initiatives including sending kids to Camp Klotty Pine each summer, educating families of the newly diagnosed and providing emergency assistance to pay medical bills, insurance premiums, and basic living funds.
