The Milwaukee Film Festival has announced its lineup for the 2012 Cream City Cinema showcase.
This year's lineup features three feature-length documentaries, two feature-length fiction films and The Milwaukee Show, a selection of locally made short films made by Milwaukee-based filmmakers.
Cream City Cinema will include screenings of "As Goes Janesville" by Brad Lichtenstein, "Bending Towards the Light" by Brad Pruitt, "The Jeffrey Dahmer Files" by Chris Thompson, "Little Red" by Tate Bunker and "Sleepover" by Laj P. Waghray.
Shorts presented at The Milwaukee Show, one of the most popular screenings from the 2011 festival, include "Cat Waco" by Brooke Duckart, "The Evilest of Sorcerers" by Jon Elliott, "Gears" by Steven Miosku, "Reflection (Anarekli)" by Giorgi Mrevlishvili, "She Leaves the City" by Brian McGuire, "Sing (For Trouble)" by Sean Williamson and Erik Ljung, "So I Could Fly Away" by Blyth Renate Meier, "Studies In Space" by Tate Bunker, "The Vampire Formerly Known as Dracula" by Ian Walls and Nathaniel Schardin (2012 Collaborative Cinema feature) and "Walking Peace" by Ericka Frederick.
Milwaukee Film will also host an after-party following The Milwaukee Show at Landmark Lanes, 2220 N. Farwell Ave., beginning at 9 p.m. The party is free and open to the public. Milwaukee Film Festival attendees can also receive a free beer with their ticket stub or festival pass.
