It’s nearly time for the Racine Art Museum’s (RAM) International Peeps Art Exhibition, a non-traditional showcase of art made from or inspired by the colorful – and often polarizing – marshmallow Peeps® candy.

The 14th Annual International Peeps Art Exhibitionattracted 200 creative submissions, resulting in a public display of more than 140 one-of-a-kind pieces.

This year, the popular 15th “Peep show” will kick off on March 21, 2024 at RAM, 441 Main St. in Racine. As usual, the showing – which has grown by peeps and bounds – is expected to draw thousands of visitors to the museum and inspire nationwide media coverage.

That’s just 71 peeps sleeps away.  Fortunately, there's still plenty of time for artists of all stripes to consider submitting a creative work for the exhibition.

Get on it, for peeps’ sake

Artists of all ages are invited to embrace their inner Peep-lover by creating art for the only museum competition of its kind. Entry is free and open to all individuals, families and organizations.

Entries for the 2024 show will be judged by a panel of experts based on creativity and the best use or representation of Peeps®. Museum visitors also are invited to nominate their favorite piece in the exhibition for the coveted PEEPles Choice Award, which will be announced after the exhibition wraps up.

Since 2021, a single entrant each year has also been chosen for the RAM Postcard Award where their piece is reproduced and sold as postcards in the RAM Museum Store.

Additional information, including guidelines and a downloadable entry form, are available online. All entries must either be dropped off at the museum on March 8 or March 9 or be shipped to arrive no later than Thursday, March 7. All submissions must be accompanied by a completed entry form.
