Two days after its series finale, fans are still debating the end of "Game of Thrones," with opinions ranging from "the worst thing that's ever happened to me, never have I been so betrayed, I demand congressional hearings" all the way up to "fine." As it turns out, "GoT" superfan and Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers lands closer to the former.

The Packers had media availability after OTAs this afternoon, and the conversation turned to "Game of Thrones." And Rodgers did his best impression of Dany at King's Landing: He spit fire and had no mercy.

I haven't witnessed that level of scorched earth since, well, actually just last Sunday. Don't think Bran the Broken (god, what a terrible name for a king) is gonna see many passes from Aaron this season. David Benioff or D.B. Weiss either.

Before that rant, Rodgers also clarified his cameo appearance in the penultimate episode. As it turns out, he was neither the archer standing in formation – though he did say that at least that extra looked like him – nor the extra who got scorched running down a tunnel away from Dany and Drogon. He even said he was "disappointed" that people thought that was him (oops, sorry Aaron!) because that guy was clearly a "non-athlete." Damn; Rodgers, like Dany, has burns for everyone. No wonder he thought she should've wound up on the Iron Throne.

In the end, he clarifies – kind of; he just says "sure" to the question – that he was actually an extra at the bell tower scene. You probably didn't recognize him because he's pretty unrecognizable. Considering how lamely he thinks the show ended, maybe that's for the best.

Well, I guess if the whole football thing doesn't work out, it seems Rodgers could have a solid career in television criticism.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
