The season may have wrapped up almost exactly a month ago, but three-time MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers hasn't left the spotlight thanks to an upcoming hosting gig with "Jeopardy!" not to mention stirring up headlines with his surprise engagement announcement to "Big Little Lies" star Shailene Woodley. And now we have actual dates for the former, as well as an official confirmation from Woodley on the latter.

Let's start with the trivia news over the tabloid news: According to USA Today, the Packers quarterback – as well as 2015 "Celebrity Jeopardy!" champ – will take over the podium on the iconic game show for ten episodes starting on Monday, April 5.

Rodgers previously announced on "The Pat McAfee Show" in January that he'd serve as one of several guest hosts for the show while the program searches for a full-time replacement for the late great Alex Trebek. Past interim hosts have included Ken Jennings, Katie Couric, Dr. Oz and "Jeopardy!" executive producer Mike Richards, with news personalities Anderson Cooper, Savannah Guthrie and Bill Whitaker, along with Dr. Sanjay Gupta and sitcom star Mayim Bialik all lined up for future episodes as well. No Chicago Bears, past or present, have been remotely in the discussion for hosting duties.

We'll see if he can quarterback a game show as well as he can a football team – but now we move from replacement hosts to relationship goals as actress Shailene Woodley made it official last night on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" that she and Rodgers are engaged.

Tabloids previously reported their romantic connection before Rodgers confirmed he got engaged over the past year during his MVP acceptance speech earlier this month – though Woodley herself wasn't named and the actress had not spoken on the topic herself. Last night, however, promoting her new Golden Globe-nominated movie "The Mauritanian" (starring Packers fan Jodie Foster), she spilled some of the beans on their until-now secret engagement and relationship.

"Yes, we are engaged – but for us, it's not new news," Woodley said. "It's kind of funny; everyone right now is freaking out over it, and we're like, 'Yeah, we've been engaged for a while.'"

So how long is a while? Woodley doesn't offer any specifics on that matter – just "a while ago" – but she does hint that they met during the pandemic ("this wacky time"), that she still has yet to make the pilgrimage to Green Bay (or any football game, period) and that she's still learning about Rodgers' acclaimed place in the sport since she's fairly new to the world of pigskin.

"When we met, I knew he was a football guy, but I didn't what kind of a football guy he was – and I'm still constantly learning," she noted. "Because I don't know him as a football guy. I know him as, like, the nerd who wants to host 'Jeopardy!' That's the dude I know. He just also happens to be very good at sports."

Oh, and also her dog may love Aaron Rodgers even more than she does.

"When I first met him, my dog pulled me aside and was like, 'If you don't date this dude, I will disown you as my mother,'" Woodley joked. "'The three feet that I run with you when you throw a ball is nothing compared to the marathon I'm able to run with him.'''

The whole interview segment is below, and it's pretty cute. They seem happy! Good for them! She calls him a "wonderful, incredible human being!" Yay for love – and here's to making her an official cheesehead when the next season rolls around in hopefully normal-esque times.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
