Styx, the iconic multi-platinum band from Chicago, will perform a postgame concert at the Admirals annual Classic Rock Night March 28 at the Bradley Center.

"We are extremely excited to bring one of my all-time favorites to Milwaukee for this season's Classic Rock Night," Admirals president Jon Greenberg said of the show, which is presented by Lee Jeans and Miller Lite.

"I am excited for Styx to continue our tradition of giving our fans first-class entertainment both on and off the ice."

As the first band to ever have four consecutives albums certified multi-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, Styx has been churning out hits since their inception in 1972 with their most recent success being "I Am The Walrus" in 2004. Their breakthrough album was "The Grand Illusion" in 1977, and reached triple platinum status, and featured the Top Ten hit "Come Sail Away."

Styx toured with Boston in the summer of 2008, and has toured in the past with the likes of Def Leppard, REO Speedwagon, and Thin Lizzy. Tommy Shaw, James "J.Y" Young, Todd Sucherman, Lawrence Gowan, Ricky Phillips and Chuck Panozzo currently comprise the Styx line-up.

Styx has stayed involved in sports with pre-game performances at the 2001 and 2003 Super Bowls and the inclusion of their song "Renegade" in a Heineken commercial featuring Brad Pitt, one of the most talked about commercials of Super Bowl XXXIX.

The Admirals open the home portion of their 2008-'09 schedule with a game against Rockford at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Bradley Center.
