The nationally-touring Alice Cocktail Experience popped up in Milwaukee at The Brown Bottle, 221 W. Galena St., and will be here for six weeks.
We had "tea" with the Mad Hatter herself – and the Queen and the March Hare from the classic Lewis Carroll story – last night.
The 90-minute, theatrical, interactive show is not for children and guests must be 21 to attend. Why? Because all the concoctions are highly alcoholic and the Queen has quite a colorful vocabulary.
And we loved every minute of it.
Located in the dining room of the iconic Brown Bottle Restaurant, the incredible set brings a magical, highly-detailed version of wonderland to life. The evening features live performers, riddles, games, cocktail concocting, cookie eating and a lot of chuckles.
The Alice Cocktail Experience is in town through Sunday, Aug. 7. Go here for showtimes and tickets. The price is $49.50 per person.
And for those especially curiouser and curiouser, here are 8 more photos from our visit last night.
