If there was any justice, Casey James would have been sent home tonight after this week's weak performance.
But the 27-year-old from Fort Worth, Texas, somehow ended up in the top three vote-getters on Fox's "American Idol."
He was accompanied by the expected pair of Lee DeWyze, 24, of Mount Prospect, Ill., and Crystal Bowersox, 24, Elliston, Ohio.
The bottom two were Aaron Kelly, 17, Sonestown, Pa., and Michael Lynche, 26, St. Petersburg, Fla.
Kelly, the youngest remaining competitor, was sent home in a week that featured Harry Connick Jr., and the songs of Frank Sinatra.
