It’s almost time for the 45th annual Art in the Park in Lake Geneva. The popular, free event takes place in Flat Iron Park, a beautiful lakefront setting, and is within walking distance of many Lake Geneva restaurants, making it a relaxing and enjoyable all-day destination.
Art in the Park, presented by the Geneva Lake Arts Foundation, is a juried fine art show featuring more than 80 distinguished artists from myriad genres, including clay/pottery, fiber, glass, printmaking, jewelry, metal, mixed media, oil/acrylic painting, pastel, photography, sculpture, watercolor and wood.
“Art in the Park is unique in that it is one of the few fine art and craft fairs run by artists," says Art in the Park's Sarah McConnell.
Art in the Park is the main fundraising event for Geneva Lake Arts Foundation and Gallery 223.

The event is held in Flat Iron Park, between Center Street and Wrigley Drive, just south of Main Street in downtown Lake Geneva.

What to expect at Art in the Park
Almost half of the 90+ art vendors – from 10 different states – attending this year are new to Art In The Park.
"So while visitors will see many of their favorite artists, there will be many new vendors to explore," says McConnell.
Art in the Park will also feature a silent auction tent where guests can bid on their favorite pieces. Bidding will end on Saturday at 3 p.m, and Sunday at 2 p.m. Winners will be notified by cell phone and will be asked to pick up their item within 2.5 hours of the auction closing.
The event also includes a Just for Kids area featuring a “make and take” project located in the Flat Iron Park Gazebo.
A variety of food trucks, including the local Boy Scouts, will serve food and drinks along the lakefront side of the park.
“Art in the Park showcases art, community and natural beauty,” says McConnell. “It should not be missed.”
