After a successful – dare we say "uplifting" – first year, Balloon Adventure is back at the Pier 290 Boat Showroom in Williams Bay. (Less than an hour from Milwaukee!)

The 10-day charity event presented by the 531 Fund runs from Thursday, March 6 through Sunday, March 16. This year's theme is "Voyage Into the Deep Sea” and aims to create a magical journey beneath more than 100,000 balloons created by 14 balloon artists.

Tickets are on sale now for $20 and are available here. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Camp Timber-lee, a Wisconsin-based camp that offers horseback riding, outdoor adventures and faith-based programs for kids and teens.

“The Balloon Adventure offers exciting activities and surprises that will transport guests into an underwater wonderland," says Kimberly Voller, Executive Director of 531 Fund.

The 531 Fund is a non-profit organization that supports local charities in southern Wisconsin, particularly those within the "531" zip code areas. More information about the group is available here.

Throughout the event, special theme nights will also be held, including:

  • "Glow Waves Adventure"
  • “Rave Under the Wave”
  • “Just Keep Raving” dance parties
  • "Deep Sea Shuffle" (adult event)
  • "Tales of the Sea" (family movie night)
  • "The Adult Swim: Deep Sea Adventure" (special hours for seniors 60+)
  • "Balloon Popping Party: Deflate the Sea"

"The attention to detail and creativity will make attendees feel like they have truly dived into the deep sea,” says Voller. "From the moment visitors step foot into the event, they will be immersed in a world filled with vibrant colors, larger-than-life sea creatures and breathtaking balloon displays."
