As OnMilwaukee.com gets ready to host its fourth annual Bartender Olympics, you can prepare to cheer on the competition by familiarizing yourself with future Milwaukee Bar Olympians.

We've been profiling the participating bartenders over the last two weeks in preparation for the big night at Wherehouse on Thursday, March 1.

Cheer on your favorite bartender while they compete in four events, including the Pabst can stack, timed drink order, karaoke and the cocktail contest. Special guests include 102.1's Kramp and Adler.

The event is free and features drink specials like $3 Dr. Fireball and Hornitos cocktails, $4 Absolut, Malibu, OR-G, Jim Beam and Red Stag Cocktails, $2 Pabst Tall Boys and free samples of Party Armor.

Plus, 2Cents and OnMilwaukee.com teamed up create a special Bar Month printed edition, which will be available at the event.

Here's a quick Q & A with bartender Joe Conforti of Rogues Gallery, The Nomad, Vitucci's and McGillycuddy's:

OnMilwaukee.com: How long have you been tending bar?

Joe Conforti: Five years.

OMC: What's the most important tool behind the bar?

JC: Patience.

OMC: What's your favorite Milwaukee bar (other than the one where you work)?

JC: Ten Bells (and) Wolski's. They are both places that I never seem to go to as often as I like due to work schedule/convience, however both places have what I look for in a place: a great bar staff and a low key feel. It also helps that PJ at Wolski's makes a hell of a Moscow mule, and Lee at Bells revives the old drink list from Soho 7 on Thursdays.

OMC: What's your favorite brunch spot?

JC: The Noble. They serve the best brunch in Milwaukee, and it is geared to the service industry in that it is only served on Mondays and offered until 4 p.m. Everything is handmade, down to the bread they serve. Since I started going when they opened I have only missed three Mondays and we have a growing group that meets every Monday.

OMC: Have you served anyone famous?

JC: Tim Lincecum (of the San Francisco Giants).

OMC: Did he tip well?

JC: Yes.

OMC: What drink are you making for Bartender Olympics?

JC: Melbull.

Melbull
1 ounce Absolute Peach
1 ounce Absolut Raspberry
6 ounces Redbull
Splash of cranberry
