Maybe you've noticed curious beds in a variety of Milwaukee County Parks this week.  Maybe you haven't.  But in case you're wondering, they're there as a precurser to a fundraiser that's happening this Saturday for Pathfinders Youth Homeless shelter.

On Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m., the Bradford Beach Bathhouse transforms into a swanky nightclub complete with king and queen-sized cabanas for your lounging pleasure during a fundraising event called B.E.D. Milwaukee.

B.E.D.  (Because Every kid Deserves one) is a benefit event for Pathfinders Teen Homeless Shelter.  According to the group, every night more than 400 homeless kids are without a place to sleep.  But there are only 16 emergency beds available.  The Counseling Center wants to change that.  But that takes resources.  Hence the fundraiser.

The North Coast Orchestra will provide the sounds of South Beach for this unique event. Individual tickets are $25, or you can invite your friends to snuggle in by hosting a queen-sized cabana for $500 or a king-sized for $1,000.

"Dress it up or tone it down for an unforgettable night. Miami chic in your sassy stilettos, or easy elegance in your white linens," reads the invite.  "All we need is you!"

Purchase tickets or reserve your cabana at bedmilwaukee.org.
