According to greatbrewers.com, the presenting sponsor, "the primary goal of Milwaukee Beer Week is to enhance beer knowledge and appreciation through a series of events in the great city of Milwaukee, Wis."

Indeed, this once-trade-show-type industry event has evolved and this year it's full of events, tastings, a big 25th anniversary for Sprecher and much more.

And, don't forget about the "first annual Oktoberfest Extravaganza" at Von Trier this weekend. It will work very well, in concert, with the big East Side Tomato Romp and Bloody Mary contest.
