Camp Bar
When picking a bar for a first date, you want a place that captures your style, as well as a space that makes you feel at home. It's a category that's open to personal interpretation – save for the necessities of having good drinks and good company.
And when it comes to those romantic requisites, OnMilwaukee readers chose their third different bar over as many years, picking Camp Bar over fellow favorites Balzac and Bryant's Cocktail Lounge.
Maybe it's the cozy, log cabin-esque interior or the soft flannel booths that earned Camp Bar the top spot for a first date, narrowly beating The Outsider by less than one percent. No matter the case, however, any pair looking to spark their romantic life can find it here as they soon as they step inside the door at any of Camp's three locations and are transported up north.
However, the staff decided to go against the (wood) grain and selected Tin Widow as their editors' pick. If there's one thing you know when you order a drink at The Tin Window, it's expertly crafted – the perfect accompaniment for the perfect first date.
OnMilwaukee editors' pick: Tin Widow
