Bloody Mary at The Wicked Hop

What's better than a brandy old fashioned from a bubbler? What's more killer than a Milwaukee mule? You called it. For the third year running, the Wicked Hop Bloody Mary won you over as the best local drink.

In fact, we're beginning to think there's a little magic inside this tomato-based beverage. Is it in the secret mix? Or is it the festoon of mozzarella whips? We can't be sure ... though we suspect that the ability to order a very large version, served up in a glass slipper, probably helps it considerably.

And yet, while this cheese-whip-filled bloody won by a near landslide last year, it had serious competition from a classic contender this year. The Packing House old fashioned was a mere 18 votes behind. Even more impressive, the SoulBoxer bubbler old fashioned from Drink Wisconsinbly crept up into third place this year, losing out by less than 30 votes. Meanwhile, the At Random Tiki Love Bowl joined the runners up for the first time.
