Now that we are officially in spring, the people of Milwaukee are slowly but surely beginning to peek their heads out of hibernation. It's been a heck of a winter, and we all deserve this break in the weather, even if it is still a little chilly. As it begins to warm up more and more, consider grabbing a drink outside on the patio – and if you are looking for the best of the best, Barnacle Bud's took first place for best patio/view 2019.

Tucked away and located on the Milwaukee River, Barnacle Bud's is a true gem of a hideaway with stunning views of the water. Try a signature cocktail, a trademark Bloody Mary or try the "Build Your Own Bloody Mary Bar" on weekends from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Rounding out the top five of bars with the best views were The Outsider at Kimpton Journeyman Hotel, Harbor House, Lakefront Brewery and Cafe Benelux. With a view so great its in the name, OnMilwaukee editors decided to give View MKE their honorable mention.
