Steny's Tavern & Grill
If beer is what makes Milwaukee "Brew City," sports would seem to go hand in hand with it. As the NCAA basketball tournament gets underway, it's only right we announce the best places you voted to catch the games!
It may come as no surprise to our readers that Steny's Tavern & Grill has once again been named Milwaukee's best sports bar – for the seventh year in a row!
Ask any patron and they will give you a unique answer to why Steny's is the best. They offer a wood-paneled bar that stretches half the building, with plenty of flat-screen TVs to view the game, in addition to offering one of the best Blood Marys in town. There is also a large dining area fit for the whole family. Add in the fact that Steny's is one of the many local bars that offer shuttles to and from games, and you've got a winner.
Other fan favorites – including Leff's Lucky Town, Nomad World Pub and Jack's American Pub – came close but couldn't overthrow the reigning champ.
The OnMilwaukee staff decided to shake things up, however, and choose SportClub as its favorite. Located at 750 N. Jefferson St., SportClub has a multitude of deals for any sports nut, including $9 High Life 40-ouncers during March Madness and breakfast during European League soccer matches.
