It's time for Dining Month, presented by Deer District and its spooky Halloween-themed alter ego, Fear District. Throughout the month of October, we'll be serving up fun and fascinating content about all things food. The signature dish, however, is our 2019 Best of Dining poll, who's winners we will dish out all month long. Get hungry, Milwaukee!

Thai-Namite

Thai-Namite continues to be a dynamite location for Thai, as the OnMilwaukee readers once again voted the restaurant the city's best Thai food.

The kitchen produces Thai mainstays as well as some unusual items. Pad Thai is served wrapped in thin pan-fried eggs, which is more authentic than the typical plate pile presentation seen in Milwaukee restaurants.

Combining a sushi bar with authentic Thai cooking under one roof is a Windy City trend that hadn't arrived in Milwaukee until Thai-Namite opened. Thai-Namite has plenty of options to satisfy your Thai-craving palate at any of its three locations: Brady Street, Wauwatosa and Downtown in the Milwaukee Public Market.

And don’t forget to browse the lengthy wine list, available at dine-in locations. Plus, the drink menu includes sake, beer and the delicious favorite Thai iced tea.

This year, the OnMilwaukee editors went with the cozy and delicious Elephant Cafe while food editor Lori Fredrich picked Kin by Rice N Roll.

Runners-up:
2. Rice N Roll
3. EE-Sane Thai-Lao Cuisine
4. The King & I
5. Singha Thai
