One of the best things about shopping at a local market is the ability to eat on the go or plan a meal. Either way, chances are good that you'll walk away satisfied.
Milwaukee's market options are plentiful – and growing all the time. When it comes to picking a favorite, though, there was little debate: The Milwaukee Public Market was the runaway winner in our annual Dining Month survey.
Including nearly two-dozen vendors, ranging from quick sandwiches to fresh seafood, with coffee, wine and beer in between, the Public Market is a one-stop-shop for those looking for a quick bite during the lunch hour, for supplies on the way home or for a filling respite during a day of shopping in the Historic Third Ward.
