For the sixth straight year, October is Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com, presented by Concordia University. All month, we're stuffed with restaurant reviews, delectable features, chef profiles and unique articles on everything food, as well as the winners of our "Best of Dining 2012."
Your votes are in, Milwaukee, and you have selected the winners of OnMilwaukee's Best Dining 2012. We're announcing the results of this readers' poll, including our editors' pick, in a series of articles that run all October long during Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com.
Just like it did last year, Blue's Egg completely trounced its competition for our readers' choice for Milwaukee's best breakfast. Taking 34 percent of the vote (runner-up, Original Pancake House, garnered 14 percent), the former Heinemann's at 317 N. 76th St. has, in just a few short years, managed to become the go-to breakfast spot in town.
Want proof? Look at the long lines for the inventive, made-from-scratch menu.
Want more proof? We, the editors of OnMilwaukee.com, agree that Blue's Egg is the best of the best. In this list of stellar breakfast places, that's a tasty endorsement.
