Sometimes you win. Sometimes you lose. Sometimes you lose after blowing a 16-point lead and one of the opposing team's defensive stars was clearly injured and all you needed to do was recover an onside kick and who kicks two field goals from the one-yard line (sorry, not over it yet). And sometimes it rains.
But no matter the case, Steny's Tavern & Grill seems to be the place to be.
For the second straight year, OnMilwaukee.com readers picked the popular Walker's Point bar as their favorite place to enjoy a game and a brew. It helps that Steny's provides a shuttle to the Bradley Center and all Brewers home games.
Not far behind, however, was Leff's Lucky Town. The Wauwatosa bar finished a mere 45 votes behind Steny's. Rounding out the rest of the top five were Three Lions Pub, Major Goolsby's and Jack's American Pub – all three separated by nine votes.
Meanwhile, Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub – namely its Downtown location within the old Pabst Brewery – came away with the editors' pick.
OnMilwaukee.com editors' pick: Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub
