The western suburbs encompass a lot of municipalities and neighborhoods, so we know this was a difficult category. But, OnMilwaukee.com readers made no bones about their favorite watering hole west of the city limits.

Leff's Lucky Town, across from Hart Park in the heart of good ol' Tosa trounced the competition garnering about twice as many votes as runner-up Cafe Hollander, just up the road apiece in Tosa Village.

Mo's Irish Pub finished just a tad behind Hollander; good for a third-place finish.

Located in a historic building that once housed a silent movie theater and a shoe store that fronted a Prohibition speakeasy, Leff's – which claims to have one of the world's biggest urinals – has become a landmark Tosa watering hole and is especially popular before and after Brewers games.

A couple years ago, owner Chris Leffler took over an old gas station next door to build a patio that allows Leff's to offer outdoor dining that – hey trainspotters! – offers a great view of passing Amtraks and freighters.
