Summerfest officials announced today that Bon Jovi headlines  the Marcus Amphitheater on July 5 as part of the festival’s 40th anniversary, which runs June 28-July 8.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 31 at 10 a.m. and are priced at $90, $80, $65 and $40.  Ticket includes Summerfest admission and facility fees.

Bon Jovi recently won a Grammy Award and a People’s Choice Award for “Who Says You Can’t Go Home,” and played Miller Brewing Company’s 150th anniversary show at Miller Park on Aug. 20, 2005. 

Some side stage artists officially signed to perform at Summerfest 2007 include Augustana, BB King, Brian McKnight, Dashboard Confessional, Mint Condition and Rise Against.
