The Bon-Ton Stores' semi-annual Goodwill Sale will run Sept. 14-28.
The sale kicks off with a special "Stuff the Truck" event on Sept. 14, when shoppers who come in with gently worn clothing donations will receive two coupons for every item donated. The coupons can be applied towards 20 percent off apparel, shoes, accessories and fine jewelry and 15 percent off cosmetics, fragrance and home store merchandise.
"Each donation to Goodwill helps our friends and neighbors, many of whom are still struggling to find work in this difficult economy," said Jim Gibbons, president and CEO of Goodwill Industries International.
"Our donors, including those who participated in the Goodwill Sale, helped Goodwill agencies serve more than 2.4 million people last year – a 26 percent increase from 2009."
