The Brady Street Art Walk, hosted by The Brady Street Business Improvement District (BID #11) and Scout Gallery, takes place on Saturday, Aug. 20 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. During the fun, 35 artists will take to the streets to create their art while attendees watch. The event is free.

Lilliput Records, formerly the Exclusive Company, will also host a pop-up on Brady Street to celebrate their grand opening. Tamarack-Waldorf School will provide a kids' art area on Brady and Franklin Place.

The Brady Street Business Improvement District pays each artist $100 to participate. This year’s artists are between the ages of 20 and 70, and attendees can talk with the artists about their work. Some artists will have artwork for sale.

Scout Gallery owners, Jeff and Dana Redmon, will curate the Brady Street Art Walk for a second year. The Redmons selected a variety of well-known and new artists to participate, including John Kowalczyk, Liala Amin and muralist Drew York.
