Like most 2020 festivals and music events, Bublr Bash – now in its third year-  will be a virtual affair. The fundraiser and free concert takes place Saturday, Aug.22 from 5 to 9 p.m. on YouTube, Facebook Live and Twitch.

The goal is to raise funds and attract sponsors that will allow Bublr Bikes, Greater Milwaukee’s nonprofit bikeshare operator, to continue working on its mission of delivering a quality, sustainable bikeshare system.

The musical lineup includes Vincent Van Great & Ninja Sauce, Amanda Huff, SistaStrings, Immortal Girlfriend, Sleeper Sound, Yogi B & Keez and Rio Lanza.

"This event is going to bring Milwaukee together on several platforms, to create an opportunity for homegrown artists to have an outlet during these times, and to raise funds for more bike stations to be added on throughout Milwaukee," says promoter John Cunningham.

The concert will be recorded at KneeverLand Studios in Walker's Point, but due to COVID-19, will not be open to the public.

"It's a blessing to stay active during these times of adversity, and to help raise funds for an amazing organization to expand throughout Milwaukee," says headliner Vincent Van Great.
