The Milwaukee Bucks are taking their sweet time unveiling their new City Edition uniforms for the upcoming season. (Never mind that we pretty much already know what they're going to look like.) But at least they're revealing them in an even sweeter way, as the team started the process by officially unveiling the new jersey color Friday night with the help of the newly installed lights on the Hoan Bridge.
Spoiler alert: The team's new alternate uniforms – taking the place of their Cream City set from last season – are going to be blue. Here's a look at the shimmering reveal:
The official color reveal at least partially confirms the leak from earlier this month, showing a shirt-jersey version of the new look featuring a bright blue hue – a part of the Bucks color scheme as well as a potential nod to Giannis Antetokounmpo's Greek heritage – white blocky lettering and what appears to be a marbling effect on the numbers. The jersey will serve as an alternate for Milwaukee, worn along with the Bucks' typical green, white and black uniforms.
The accidental early sneak peek took a little bit of air out of the team's official color-revealing ceremony on Friday night, but the team made up for it with panache. After all, this has to be the first jersey color unveiling via bridge. Here's to Giannis announcing he's signing the supermax deal with Milwaukee in a similar fashion.
The real news of the evening happened not over the water but over social media. After the lighting, the team posted on Twitter that the full new alternate uniforms will be officially revealed on Tuesday, Dec. 1.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
