Looking to wash a terrible Wisconsin sports weekend out of mind? Luckily, while the Brewers are done and the Packers scuffle, the Bucks are now back to tip off the 2022-23 season – complete with almost a whole week of entertainment on and off the court.

While Giannis and company will officially begin their latest quest for a championship on Thursday on the road against the Philadelphia 76ers, the festivities will begin a day earlier on Wednesday, Oct. 19 with a digital scavenger hunt. Presented by Michelob Ultra, the digital scavenger hunt will send fans around the city of Milwaukee looking for tickets to the team's home opener at Fiserv Forum on Saturday night. More information about the hunt will be posted on the team's Twitter account.

The tip-off fun will continue into Thursday night with a bar tour around Downtown with "Bucks in 6" icon Brandon Jennings. The crawl will begin at Brothers on Water Street at 3:30 p.m. before moving on to The Harp at 4:15 p.m. and Milwaukee Brat House at 5 p.m. The Jennings-led jaunt will reach its final destination at The MECCA Sports Bar & Grill 5:45 p.m., where the team will throw a watch party for the Bucks' season opener against Joel Embiid and the Sixers in Philly.

Tip-off week will then come to an exciting end on Saturday night with the Bucks' home opener against the Houston Rockets. And while the main party will be inside Fiserv Forum, the fun will continue out inside the plaza in Deer District where a Michelob Ultra mobile bar will celebrate the opener from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with drinks, DJs and more Bucks entertainment.

In addition to these three basketball bashes, the Bucks Pro Shop will also join in the fun with a deal on its Artsman Bucks championship court frames. Those who purchase the 7"x7" frame online between Oct. 22-29 will have a chance to get their item autographed by at least three members of the 2021 championship squad. The team will also light up various local businesses around town green throughout the week – with the Bucks encouraging fans to join in by wearing their finest green and cream gear on Thursday and Saturday, no matter where they're cheering on Giannis and company.

For more information on the rest of the Bucks' tip-off week promotions and updates, check out the team's website – where fans can also find some single-game tickets remaining for Saturday's home opener. As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
