The Milwaukee Bucks may have been defeated by the Wizards last night in Washington D.C., but their trip out to the nation's capital won't be a complete loss as the team will head over to the White House this afternoon for their ceremonial visit to celebrate the team's NBA championship win last season.

"We are excited and honored for the privilege of being invited to the White House," said Bucks and Fiserv Forum President Peter Feigin, in a release. "Winning the NBA championship was an incredible experience for our organization, the city, the state and Bucks fans throughout the world. We are grateful for the opportunity to meet President Biden and to be recognized for our achievement."

The team will take the White House stage with President Biden around 1:50 p.m. on Monday afternoon. Those hoping to catch the ceremony can tune in on NBA TV, at the Bucks website or via any of the Bucks' social media outlets. And for a reminder of what they're celebrating (as if you forgot), click here for a happy trip down memory lane.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
