March is Women's History Month and the Milwaukee Bucks will team up with TEMPO Milwaukee and the Wisconsin Historical Society to celebrate stories of women’s history in Wisconsin.

Throughout the month, the Bucks will share content on Bucks platforms featuring the history of women in Wisconsin, women in sports and within the Bucks organization. The content will also highlight women-owned businesses and entrepreneurs in Wisconsin.

“We are proud to celebrate and support women in Wisconsin, women in sports and women in the Bucks organization during Women’s History Month,” said Bucks Director of Global Partnerships Malloy LePage.

Women’s History Month tips off at Fiserv Forum tonight – Wednesday, March 2 – when the Bucks host the Miami Heat with a halftime performance featuring Wauwatosa-native singer-songwriter Grace Weber and Milwaukee-native rapper Mudy. Special guests from Grace Weber’s Music Lab, a free monthly music and arts education program and talent accelerator for greater Milwaukee-area high school students, will also perform.

Plus, every March home game will feature women-owned restaurants available for concessions.

The Bucks are establishing a Women’s Speaker Series, a quarterly internal event where women from the Bucks organization and Wisconsin community speak about their career journeys and provide advice. The first panel will feature Bucks broadcasters Lisa Byington and Zora Stephenson speaking to Bucks employees.

“While we are thrilled to be commemorating Women’s History Month, we will continue our commitment to women’s initiatives throughout the year," says LePage.
