Energee!, the official dance team of the Milwaukee Bucks, is recruiting new talent to join the squad for the 2013-14 season. Open auditions for the squad will begin June 29 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center with doors opening at 8 a.m. and registration from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Call backs are slated for Sunday, June 30, beginning at 9 a.m.
Attire for the tryout is a two-piece, form-fitting outfit with exposed midriff and legs, performance hair/makeup and non-marking dance or athletic shoes (no black soles).
No pre-choreographed routines will be necessary.
Candidates should be available for all Bucks home games (regular season and playoffs if necessary) and dance practices, which are held two nights a week from September through June. Dancers must be 18 years of age or older by Nov. 1, 2013, and must have graduated high school in order to tryout.
Prior to the auditions, Energee! will host two preparation classes on June 3 and June 20 from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at Elite Sports Club North Shore in Glendale.
Participants will be introduced to the style of choreography performed by Energee! on game nights, learn sample routines, receive insight on what to expect at auditions, and have the opportunity to receive audition tips from the dance team manager and current team members. The prep classes are recommended, but not required, for Energee! candidates.

The 2013-14 season marks the 24th year for Energee!. The team performs at all Bucks home games and makes appearances at numerous corporate, charitable and community events throughout the year.
