The Milwaukee Bucks open the home portion of their 45th NBA season on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m. against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team announced Thursday. The home opener is the first of 21 weekend home games on the schedule for 2012-13.
The Bucks start the season with a road game at Boston on Friday, Nov. 2.
Features of the Bucks 2012-13 regular season schedule include:
- The 2012 NBA Champion Miami Heat make two trips to the BMO Harris Bradley Center (Dec. 29, March 15)
- Western Conference Champion Oklahoma City makes its lone Milwaukee appearance on March 30
- 21 weekend home games (4 – Friday, 15 – Saturday, 2 – Sunday)
- Two home match-ups against the Central Division Champion Chicago Bulls (Nov. 24, Jan. 30)
- A three-game homestand over the Christmas holiday featuring visits by Cleveland (Dec. 22), Brooklyn (Dec. 26) and Miami (Dec. 29)
- The lone BMO Harris Bradley Center appearance of the season by the Los Angeles Lakers on March 28
The 2012-13 schedule features just three road trips of three games or more, including two four-game trips.
In the first, the Bucks visit Toronto (Jan. 13), the L.A. Lakers (Jan. 15), Phoenix (Jan. 17) and Portland (Jan. 19).
The second comes in the midst of a road-heavy finish to the season in which Milwaukee will play six of its final eight on the road, including a four-game Southeast Division swing with stops in Miami (April 9), Orlando (April 10), Atlanta (April 12) and Charlotte (April 13).
The Bucks will host a season-long four-game homestand in late-March/early-April with visits from the L.A. Lakers (March 28), Oklahoma City (March 30), Charlotte (April 1) and Minnesota (April 3).
Bucks full season ticket plans for the 2012-13 season are available, including the unique "Back-2-Back" promotion in which fans can get two upper-level season tickets for free with the purchase of two lower-level seats in designated sections.
