Have an old Favre jersey that you'd like to burn?

Anyone who brings a Brett Favre jersey to Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove on Saturday, Sept. 5 will not only receive free admission but will be entered into a drawing to win tickets to see Minnesota play in Green Bay on November 1st.  The tickets are courtesy of Connections Ticket Service.

After a full day of racing, a line of Favre jerseys will be strung behind the starting line. Then, Great Lakes Dragaway staff will set them aflame with a 300 mph jet car!

Jerseys that aren't burned in the giant fireball will be donated to homeless shelters and Goodwill.

Gates open at 9 a.m., feature race at 6 p.m.. The jersey burn is at 8 p.m.
