In yet another push to provide support and nourishment for frontline workers, The Corners of Brookfield has announced the launch of a new "Caring for Caregivers" program.

The community initiative aims to support healthcare workers at neighboring hospitals by providing them with free meals from Town Center restaurant tenants BelAir Cantina, Goddess and The Baker and FreshFin Poke.

The program will kick off this week with the delivery of 750 free meals for employees at Pro Health Waukesha, Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and Ascension South East Wisconsin Hospital Elmbrook Campus.

Beginning on May 1, the public is invited to donate $10 meals through the participating restaurant tenants’ websites. Those funds for meals will be matched by The Corners of Brookfield up to $7500 each week throughout the month of May.

"We take our role as a part of the Town of Brookfield and Waukesha County communities seriously," noted Brookfield Corners CEO Robert Gould in a press release on the initiative.

"And we want to do our part to support our neighbors on the frontlines during this pandemic. We hope this initiative helps ease the burden facing our local healthcare workers by ensuring they have a healthy meal at work while also allowing us to support our restaurant tenants."
