After hiring veteran Eric Gutbrod as general manager and an experienced brew team, Central Waters recently repainted the Captain Pabst mural on the side of the building with a new one depicting its logo, and work is ongoing inside the taproom (we're getting a peek soon!).

Today, the brewhouse was fired up as brewers got to work making beer – a light lager – in preparation for its grand opening on Saturday, Oct. 16.

A couple soft opening dates will precede the official opening.

Co-owner Anello Mollica said the beer is the, "first trial brew – an homage to the district and building we are in!"

Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
