I like to joke that Chicago is Milwaukee's favorite suburb. Reality is that it's one of the world's great cities and Milwaukee is lucky to be in its radius. I love Chicago, minus its sports teams, and do my best to get there on a regular basis.

Increasingly more and more Chicagoans are heading north, too, as weekends in the Third Ward and other parts of the greater Downtown area are full of flatlanders looking for fun and unique Milwaukee flavor.

This month's Chicago Magazine helps its locals find Milwaukee dining with a nice "Midwest Foodie Travel" feature on our fine city. The story covers many area hot spots, and features nice profiles of Brady Street and Bolzano Artisan Meats.

Read the full story here or in print in the June edition of Chicago Magazine.

And, speaking of Milwaukee dining don't forget that Downtown Dining Week begins this Thursday.
