After a hiatus, "Chick Singer Night-Milwaukee" is back with a reunion show including some of Milwaukee's finest vocalists: Carmen Nickerson, Anna Bohn, Ellen Winters, Lynda Lee, Jamie Kellicut, The Johnston Brothers and host, Alaria Taylor.

The event takes place Tuesday, Feb. 22 at Caroline's Jazz Club, 401 S. 2nd St., at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $12.

The back-up band includes Eric Hervey on bass, Sam Steffke on keyboards, Dan Johnston on guitar and John Calarco on drums.

Chick Singer Night is a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping female artists in every stage of their careers. It is the longest running singer showcase in America with chapters throughout the country.

It was founded 35 years ago by Milwaukee native Lori Maier, who currently teaches at Pepperdine University. Alaria Taylor is the director of Chick Singer Night Milwaukee.

"The show will include some of the top tunes from Chick Singer Nights of the past," says Taylor.
