If you're looking for a breathtaking aesthetic, the sweet aroma of intoxicating fragrances and the smooth taste of craft cocktails, look no further.

As long as you remember the red door on the second floor when you're on South Second Street in Walker's Point, you'll end up at my latest cocktail porn spotlight: Glassnote Candle Bar.

Experience an intimate and zen atmosphere that'll bring you inner peace and ultimate satisfaction.

It's a feeling that makes time slow down when your lips meet the rim of a cocktail glass. You taste that first sip and immediately taste something so electric, you can't help but smile in pure elation.

Follow along with Glassnote's Chief Mixologist Ronnie Jean as she creates three electrifying cocktails:

Do yourself a favor and, on your next Glassnote stop, ask for the Dottie. This gin-based cocktail features Lillet Blanc, refreshing plum Soju, fresh blood orange juice, tasteful cinnamon plum syrup and black walnut bitters, garnished with a stunning blood orange peel and rosemary sprig.

Save some sips for the Sin City cocktail as well. Glenlivet 12-year Scotch takes the upper hand in this thirst-quenching drink featuring sweet honey, Pernod Absinthe and dressed with a radiant dehydrated orange wheel.

And don't forget you can build your own old-fashioned, too. Choose your spirit, mixer, muddled fruit, specialty syrup, unique bitters and smoke to pair with it. This particular featured build-your-own old fashioned takes a twist with muddled orange and blackberries, Aztec chocolate bitters, sweetened with brown sugar vanilla maple syrup, bourbon, fresh pear nectar and smoked with bourbon-soaked oak chips.

To try these gratifying cocktails for yourself, check out Glassnote Candle Bar. (Though get there fast, as the cocktail menu is regularly rotated.) Read more about the spot here – and don't miss out on Glassnote's Earth Day pop-up on Saturday, April 22 at Kind Oasis.
