So, in addition to our ongoing coverage of the coronavirus, OnMilwaukee will continue to report on cool, fun, inspiring and strange stories from our city and beyond. Stay safe, stay healthy, stay informed and stay joyful. We're all in this together. #InThisTogetherMKE

Comet Cafe, 1947 N. Farwell Ave., has officially re-opened to the public after closing its doors on March 17.

The restaurant will start off with a relatively small menu of basic favorites including their popular classic and vegan macaroni and cheese, meat loaf and vegan Salisbury steak.

Fish fry is also available on Friday and Saturday nights, along with Sunday brunch, including items like the Frankie scramble, breakfast burrito and both classic and vegan biscuits and gravy. Wine and beer are also available for pick-up.

Additional dishes, including chicken tenders, the Camila sandwich, their chicken dinner, vegan riblets and more will be added beginning Tuesday, April 28.

Guests can view the take-out menu and place their order online.  Also watch their social feeds on Facebook and Instagram for updates.

Comet is open for pick-up Tuesday through Saturday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for brunch. Delivery is currently available through DoorDash.
