Component Brewing will celebrate lucky seven this Saturday in its Bay View taproom from 2 until 7 p.m., 2018 S. 1st St., in the Lincoln Warehouse.

The seventh anniversary party will have live music from Michael Lynch at 2 p.m. and Zakk Daniel at 4, plus food from Rose Mob Grill mid-afternoon plus Flour Girl frozen pizzas and pretzels stocked in the taproom freezer; plus live wood burning from The Sunsmith on the patio and new paintings from Dawn Carrillo.

You can also grab food from Jalisco, along in the Lincoln Warehouse, or at Casera Cafe & Bakery across the street.

There will also be a pair of special beer releases to celebrate, too, with those debuting at noon when the taproom opens.

“Alphabetical Order” is pink guava gose that was a favorite at the dearly departed Company Brewing, and “What’s Your Favorite Color?” is a purple hazy IPA and they’ll both be on tap and available in cans to-go.

“Jamie (Bone) and I did the packaging run for Alphabetical yesterday, and this beer is REALLY good,” says Brad Vietrogoski. “The changes that Jamie and Jon (Kowalske) made to the recipe have given the beer more depth than I remember it having in its Company Brewing days without sacrificing any of that bright fruit flavor.

“We’ve been light on sours for a while, so this is a banger of one to come back with. The purple hazy certainly doesn’t look like anything you’ve tried from our IPA stable before, but as soon as you taste it you’ll know you’re drinking one of ours.”

Because Component brewed full batches of both beers, there’s no limit on the number of four-packs each customer can purchase.
