The University of Wisconsin announced Wednesday that the Badgers' Saturday game against Purdue will be broadcast in Spanish in both the Madison and Milwaukee markets.

ESPN Radio Deportes (1580 AM in Madison and 1510 AM in Milwaukee) will carry the broadcasts with play-by-play duties handled by Raul Sanez and Lisa Urdiales providing color commentary.

"We're making Badger football available to a whole new audience in both Madison and Milwaukee and that's an exciting thing," said Justin Doherty, UW's assistant athletic director for external relations.

Both stations are operated by Good Karma Broadcasting, which also operates WAUK-AM (540) in Milwaukee. ESPN 540 is a marketing partner of OnMilwaukee.com.

The ESPN Deportes fan base is passionate and we are excited for this opportunity to bring the excitement of Wisconsin Badgers football to them," said Craig Karmazin, Good Karma Broadcasting president.

The Badgers and Boilermakers kick off at 11 a.m. at Camp Randall Stadium. In addition to the Spanish-language broadcasts, the game will also be carried on the Badger Radio Network and on the Big Ten Network.
