After 13 years in business, Devon Seafood + Steak announced today that they have closed their Milwaukee location at the Bayshore Town Center, 5715 N. Bayshore Dr., effective immediately.
The announcement was broadcast on the venue's Facebook page.
"Making the decision to close a restaurant is always the last option," the posting reads. "Devon Milwaukee was challenged with high rent and increased operating costs, which ultimately led us to the difficult to decision to close, effective immediately. We are doing everything possible to minimize the impact to affected team members. Management is out to competitors in the area on their behalf. We appreciate your loyal patronage through the years."
Devon's Seafood + Steak opened its Bayshore location in 2006, building a reputation for serving some of the freshest seafood in the city, as well as their willingness to cater to the specific needs of their Wisconsin community.
