{image1}A few days after drummer Mike Koch sent out a note saying that the Jan. 7 gig at Shank Hall would be his last as drummer for long-lived local band Dorian Gray, singer Maria Miller sent an e-mail to the band's fans announcing the demise of the band.

"It is sad for me to announce that Dorian Gray will no longer be doing anymore shows after this show at Shank Hall," she wrote. "We have come to a mutual agreement as a band that our time together is over. We all have some personal things we would like to pursue and this band can't seem to find the time we all wish we had for it."

Miller thanked the band's devoted fans in Milwaukee and beyond.

Friday's show starts at 10 p.m. and also features Strangest Places.
