This afternoon, The Dogg Haus announced that it was opening a new location in Minneapolis.
The new spot – opening in a FreeStyle Yogurt at 5315 Lyndale Ave. in Minneapolis on Thursday, March 19 – is the Chicago-style hot dog restaurant chain's eighth location and first outside of the state. This marks the second Dogg Haus restaurant of a previously reported five locations opening up in the Twin Cities area (the first is in Hudson, Wis., considered a Minneapolis-St. Paul suburb) over the next five years.
Expansion in other states is supposedly in the works, as well.
In state, the locally born franchise – currently in its 10th year of existence – still has locations at Cathedral Square, UW-Milwaukee, UW-Eau Claire, Hudson, Marquette University, Water Street and its founding shop on Brady Street.
