The new "Downton Abbey" movie may have been delayed from March until May, but Milwaukee fans won't have to wait until summer to revisit the Crawleys as a new exhibit is bringing the PBS hit to town.

The Charles Allis Art Museum announced that it will host "Dressing the Abbey," an exhibit showcasing many of the original period costumes and outfits from the award-winning TV show, beginning Friday, Feb. 4 and running through May 30.

The new exhibit will raid the cosume wardrobes of both the wealthy Crawley family members and the servants tending to the estate's needs, showcasing the everyday wear, detailed formal evening outfits and uniforms that helped authentically recreate the turn-of-the-century world of "Downton Abbey" – a history lesson, an art gallery and a peak behind the curtain of a pop cultural icon, all in one.

Tickets for "Dressing the Abbey" will go on sale beginning Tuesday, Feb. 1. For more information on the exhibit, tickets and the Charles Allis Art Museum's current policies, click here

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
