We feel you, guys. No matter who you're rooting for in today's election, you're stressed out as hell. We are too; I mean, it's only the fate of the country in the balance, right?! HAHAHAHA *nervously pulls out hair*

Well, as it turns out, an unusual source is doing its patriotic duty to sooth the American public and calm us right the hell down tonight: The Weather Channel. 

Now, as Wisconsinites hardened by our, at best, unpredictable and, at worst, freaking nightmarish climate, watching The Weather Channel doesn't seem all that relaxing of an idea. But according to Upworthy, starting at 2 p.m., the 24/7 forecasting network will ditch the maps, temperatures and seven-day outlooks, and instead air nothing but peaceful shots of nature and scenery with smooth jazz for nine straight hours. 

As The Weather Channel told Upworthy, "This election year, American citizens have endured wall-to-wall breathless tension from our colleagues in the news media, and our forecast calls for a 100 percent chance that will continue through Election Day. Wouldn't it be nice if we all had a place to escape?"

That does sound nice, The Weather Channel – but what if you're one of those growing millions who've decided to cut the cable cord? Are we just doomed to be stressed out, biting our nails until we're left with only bloody nubs?!

Settle, my concerned patriots, for Netflix's "Slow TV" is also here. 

Added just a few months ago, Netflix put up a few episodes of "Slow TV," a Scandinavian television sensation where – and I mean this as literally as possible – nothing happens. An episode called "National Firewood Night" is just a fireplace going about its mildly crackling business – for six hours. "National Knitting Evening"? Four hours of contented people knitting. The most thrilling episode is "Train Ride: Bergen to Oslo," a mild and comfortably paced seven-hour unedited train trip through nature. But a boring train ride through the docile Norwegian countryside sounds damn near therapeutic compared to the slow-motion circus train wreck we've been slowly watching for a year now. 

So there are some options for you tonight rather than panicking about what color a state will turn. And if both of these are a little too dull for you, you could always watch this incredible clip from "Mad Max: Fury Road" "Planet Earth II" and get stressed out about the fate of an adorable lizard rather than the fate of your country.
